"We asked Roberto to show us how to make a few Italian dishes at our Cookery club, which, to be faced with 10 chatty ladies, must have been quite daunting. Well I think it transformed our cooking. Now we know just how much oil to put into bruschetta topping; and it's a lot more than you think! And it just wasn't just us watching and listening; we were rolling pasta, dressing lobster, assembling aubergine parcels and best of all tasting the finished dishes. And what flavours; the lobster sauce was amazing; rich and deep. The porcini mushroom sauce; powerful and meaty. So much food we had to pace ourselves for pudding, but we found room! Good job too as the gooey chocolate pots were heavenly, as was the creamy tiramisu’, all washed down with a thimbleful of Limoncello. All with genuine home grown snippets of stories from Roberto's Italian childhood, oregano from his Mum's garden and tips on where to get the best produce for the best flavour."

A fantastic evening! great friends and amazing food all cooked by Roberto who demonstrated the cooking techniques brilliantly. Just like watching Saturday Kitchen but you got to enjoy every delicious mouthful of the food afterwards accompanied by a glass of Prosecco!'
"We enjoyed the "Italian experience”at Catherine's house on Saturday. The outstanding quality you have is in allowing the guests to digress interrupt and chatter whilst maintaining your charm and you’re cool. Never flustered - always inspiring. It's a difficult balance with a noisy lot like us......my congratulations!"
I just wanted to thank you for a fabulous night last Saturday. I never knew making my own dinner could be such fun (even though I didn’t quite manage to master the knack of gnocchi)!
It was so kind of you to make a special dish for me and I can safely say that no one has ever named a main course after me!
Wishing you continued success"

"With Roberto, you get the real deal;
He is passionate about his cooking and passing on his family's recipes.
He is an enthusiastic teacher and he's a genuinely nice man too.
We had a fab night learning how to cook with him and I would recommend him to anybody"
My Daughter had a great birthday party with her friends and they enjoyed learning how to make Pizza from scratch and delicious Italian almonds biscuits!
The event was so good that one of the Mums even put Cucina a Casa on netmums!
